ARCHITECTURE

D and E’s architecture services stand out due to our commitment to exceptional coordination across all disciplines. Our creative team is dedicated to helping our clients convey their vision through stunning renderings, detailed 3D studies, and expressive sketches.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

D and E has 45+ years of civil engineering experience under one roof. We operate through a practical approach of maximizing the site while minimizing the cost.

Our Civil Engineering services go beyond being just a stand-alone department; we prioritize close coordination with other disciplines within our firm. This integrated approach cultivates seamless collaboration and comprehensive solutions for our clients. We provide early-on site visibility sketches, preliminary site layouts, grading plans, and more.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

At D and E, our structural engineering services are designed to deliver precision and innovation from concept to completion. We begin with thorough as-built surveys as needed, then work our way through design development where we implement our team’s creative expertise.

We then produce structural calculations, creative cohesive construction documents, and remain hands-on during construction administration to provide support to bring designs to life with precision. Our comprehensive approach ensures that the structures we engineer reflect our commitment to excellence.

INTERIOR DESIGN

We are proud to have an in-house interior design department to help provide a complete set of services to our clients. Our team is dedicated to the art and science of creating both aesthetic and functional interior environments. We recognize that each client has their own unique brand identity, and we aim to tell this story through the dialogue between brand and design.

The ID department provides services such as site analysis, research, schematic design, space planning, programming, FF&E, and construction documentation. Our ID team works hand-in-hand with our architecture department, fostering an environment for seamless communication and ultimately a coherent end design.

PERMIT EXPEDITING

D and E has over 70 years of combined experience permitting in jurisdictions all across the country, including challenging locations with multi-step processes and extensive submittal requirements. Our Project Coordinators are hands-on with every step of the process to ensure that the project is always in forward movement, in addition to providing day-to-day updates of project status and permit projection timelines.

Our team will complete or assist the client/other consultants with permit applications and make any submittals required. We work directly with Developers, State & Health Departments, as well as any local Planning, Building, and Engineering Departments, to obtain all approvals needed.

DUE DILIGENCE

Our team excels at identifying local requirements, project feasibility, and any concerns to our client so that they have full transparency at the project’s inception, rather than being surprised later down the road.

Through transparent communication and persistent relationship-building with the City, our Project Coordinators are committed to producing thorough due diligence reports to ensure that each project moves successfully through the required review and approval processes until final plan approvals are obtained. In addition to producing the preliminary site investigation report, D and E will also analyze site conditions and constraints, as well as produce site and building test-fits.
