Jamie Ledbetter Pierce

Permitting

Jamie Pierce has been with the company since 2007 and in the industry since 1997. Jamie attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Culinary Concentration) with a Psychology Minor. She had a decade of human resources experience in the transportation industry before becoming a Project Coordinator, and now Lead Project Coordinator, for DandE. Her professional skills include being proficient in Microsoft 365, excellent communication, being detail-oriented, team-focused, adaptable, and client-oriented, having a strong work ethic, and being able to quickly prioritize tasks in a fast-paced industry.

From a young age, Jamie has always been very task-minded, organized, and a list-making kind of person. Being able to bring these skills to a team and work through challenges together is a natural match for her personality. She enjoys the challenges that come from every project being unique and therefore always having new things to learn, as well as new obstacles to overcome. She appreciates the interactions with clients and being a part of something even larger than our office culture. She is thankful to work for a company that provides tools and an opportunity for her to grow and develop – both personally and professionally.

During this season of life, Jamie’s interests can best be encapsulated in the popular phrase today known as “farm-to-table.” Her family has been very intentional in recent years to grow their livestock farming knowledge on their small 6-acre farm. She grows seasonal vegetables and enjoys various forms of food preservation. Jamie says there is something very special about tending to a space where her grandchildren can unplug, slow down, pet the goats, gather the eggs, and be reminded that life is a beautiful gift.

“I love being part of a team that works together in a fast-paced industry to accomplish difficult things.”
