Erica Mendel
Erica Mendel graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Applied Psychology. She brings strengths in strategic marketing, writing, project coordination, social media management, graphic design, and video editing, with experience using tools such Adobe Creative Suite.
Erica previously worked for Design and Engineering, Inc. in a dual role as a Marketing and Project Coordinator, supporting both marketing initiatives and project teams through research, due diligence coordination, and content development. In her current role as Marketing Consultant, she continues to support the firm in a new capacity, helping guide marketing strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling while collaborating with the team to highlight the firm’s work and expertise.
Her professional background includes experience in the nonprofit sector, social media management, and administrative assistant roles. What Erica enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to design, be creative, and bring ideas to life visually, while also crafting effective communications.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys loves traveling, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops with friends. She also loves reading, writing, and singing/playing guitar.
