Cracker Barrel: Long Standing Client Relationship

At DandE, we value long standing relationships and partnerships with our clients. It is a foundation that started with one of our first clients, Cracker Barrel, who we began working with nearly 40 years ago. Continuing that relationship until today, we’ve worked on over 600 new stores, developed over a dozen prototypes, and assisted with numerous facilities initiatives including equipment rollouts, building additions, and remodels.

“I started working with Cracker Barrel in 2018 during their rollout of Signature Chicken, a new menu-item that included mechanical and electrical coordination across dozens of stores in challenging jurisdictions,” says Walker Westbrook, Architectural Project Manager.

“As I became more familiar with the brand, I was entrusted with managing the client account. During my years of working with Cracker Barrel, Design and Engineering has completed all scopes of projects from small facilities upgrades and remodels, up to new store design and prototype development. We value that we bring a practical approach and expansive knowledge of the brand’s history to all of the projects that we undertake. And we take pride that we are able to assist them in navigating challenging jurisdictions and unique conditions across the US.”
