Nacho Daddy

Design Vision

For Nacho Daddy‘s first Nashville location, our team embraced the opportunity to evolve the brand’s established identity while tailoring it to the Midtown market. Drawing inspiration from the edgy, high-energy aesthetic of the brand’s previous locations, we collaborated closely with the client to adapt the concept to Nashville’s dynamic hospitality scene. A key element of the design was the integration of a mezzanine level, offering an elevated private event space that remained visually and physically connected to the main dining area. The core design challenge was addressed through thoughtful materiality, layered lighting, and intentional spatial connections.

Adaptation of Shell Space

Our team took a proactive approach to adapting the base building shell to meet the functional and operational demands of a full-service restaurant. Working within the limitations of the existing structure, we coordinated complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to align with the brand’s kitchen layout and service model. The result was a fully integrated restaurant environment that balanced the realities of a tenant fit-out with the immersive experience the brand is known for.

Detail Coordination

To support both the immediate project and future scalability, we developed a comprehensive set of bid and construction documents to obtain permit approvals. Simultaneously, our team created a refined “kit of parts” – a cohesive set of brand-defining architectural details, finishes, and fixtures. This kit not only guided the Nashville buildout but also served as the foundation for a repeatable prototype model, supporting Nacho Daddy’s ongoing national expansion.
