RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordination with other disciplines including civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical to provide a fully coordinated set of construction documents
  • Assist in preparation of structural calculations and modeling of project
  • Redline and review full set documents
  • Respond to city review comments and follow up with reviewing agencies having authority
  • Conduct site visits to projects across the country for as-builts
  • Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals and schedules

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in structures
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in structural design
  • Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or similar

  • Preferred – 5 years as a Project Coordinator or similar business environment
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows
  • Ability to guide and coordinate within a department and communicate effectively with Clients, Consultants and Vendors
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret letters, emails, site investigation reports and other correspondence as it pertains to the project assigned
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or clarifications from Clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage project schedule for all assigned projects
  • Conducts meetings with engineers, architects and consultants for each project assigned
  • Contacting and retaining consultants for projects assigned. Managing all activities in order to obtain plans/documents and permits.
  • Review Consultant invoices for payment.
  • Provides information and files pertaining to project to consultants and engineers.
  • Implements and utilizes project checklists to ensure proper adherence to flow of architectural/engineering progress and documentations.
  • Create, review and track project schedules to ensure scope timelines are met on all assigned projects.
  • Secures Client and Jurisdictional approvals of all Plan Changes and Construction Documents
  • Create, review and interface with Project Team Due Diligence Reports
  • Monitors closeouts of projects with appropriate consultants and officials
  • Analyze all material associated with project and its progress and completion and determine next steps
  • Create and maintain Project Reports and regularly communicates project status with Clients
  • Performs in a manner to ensure that the work is performed according to the company standards. Works independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Answer phones.
  • Prepare conference room for client meetings.
  • Prepare and coordinate project applications, packages and documents for submittal and distribution to local jurisdictions, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
