Tanner Rief

Tanner Reif graduated Cum Laude from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in building science and sustainable design. He also has an associate’s degree in landscape/horticulture technology.

Before becoming a project designer here at D and E, Tanner was a project designer for two years at Marotta/Main Architects in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. His professional skills include programming and building development, building information modeling, project coordination with consultants, producing and evaluating construction documents, reviewing MEP documents, and manufacturing renderings through various software. His technical skills include Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Enscape.

Tanner’s draw toward this career path began as a child, as he had a curiosity in how things were built and an interest in drawing. He was fortunate to have great professors throughout his college career who were able to really challenge him; this brought out the best in him and created a strong foundation for his professional career to come.

His favorite part about his job is that he gets to work on a diverse range of projects and create relationships with various clients across the U.S. He loves the team that he gets to work with here at DandE, and in his free time, Tanner enjoys hiking, working out, and golfing.
