Sounds Outing 2024

Sounds Outing 2024

We may have gotten rained out for a half hour, but that didn’t stop us! Another great Sounds outing down in the books.

Congratulations, Mya!

Congratulations, Mya!

We would love to acknowledge one of our Interior Designers, Mya Agee, for being accepted along with a select group of 14 other up-and-coming designers to attend the industry’s premier commercial design event – NeoCon.

In their own words, @neocon_shows “offers a comprehensive itinerary led by industry leaders, including editor-led showroom tours and roundtable discussions. It is a unique chance to learn about the latest products and trends that are shaping the industry, while also building meaningful working relationships with other designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals.”

Congratulations on this great accomplishment, Mya!

This core value ensures that those we partner with not only get fresh and innovative designs, but also solutions that serve their intended purposes pragmatically.

Visit to The Fainting Goat – Franklin

Visit to The Fainting Goat – Franklin

Our Interiors Team took a trip down the road to one of our projects that recently opened – The Fainting Goat Coffee Co. in Franklin, TN! Incredible coffee, a great second story with a rooftop lounge, remote working booths available, and parking in the back. Needless to say, this location will be a frequent visit for our office!

Site Visit: BWW – Torrance, CA

Our President & Interior Design team had the opportunity to travel to California recently to visit ongoing projects. While there, they got to perform a progress check at a new-build Buffalo Wild Wings location in Torrance that is nearing completion.

Progress checks are an important part of the process and help ensure that the construction is going smoothly. Being on site allowed the team to check in with the general contractor and clarify any questions he had, as well as walk through the space and ensure that the details and finishes were installed according to the provided construction documents. We can’t wait to see how this project turns out!⁣

Past Project Highlight: Bricktops Office Space

Past Project Highlight: Bricktops Office Space

Reminiscing on one of our favorite past projects where we headed up the interior design and drawings for a Bricktops office space. Concept statement written by one of our experienced and innovative interior designers, Lea Materrazi.

“This adaptive reuse space of a historical production mill creates the perfect space for the corporate headquarters of a national restaurant group. The warm and inviting elements of the building structure highlight the local roots while promoting the collaboration and creativity of the team members. Echoes of the building’s rich history combine with nods to the design aesthetic of the restaurants set the stage for a luxurious yet comfortable work environment.

The building shell of exposed brick walls, ceiling, ductwork and columns drove the design aesthetics. Keeping the exposed finishes where possible while complimenting with a warm white wall paint, custom millwork and bold deep brown tone broadloom carpet brings the space to life again. Workspaces with materials that blend into the industrial feel in tandem with modern black pendant fixtures ground the space and activities. Acoustical baffles add interest while aiding the sound absorption and reverberation against the hard surrounding surfaces and exposed ceiling and plaster walls and columns.

The conference space was a focal point and has custom wooden dropped grid and a cluster of pendant lights that accentuate the space. The revived modern style of the conference table carries the historical nod to the past while upgrading to the future.

Art brings the finishing touches to create the comfortable and personal additions to the space.  Two gallery walls of prints from the client’s personal collection add a whimsical touch to complete the space.”

Holler & Dash Highlight

Holler & Dash Highlight

Throwback Thursday! In 2016 our team was engaged to develop a new restaurant concept, Holler & Dash, from the ground up. We worked closely with the client, branding lead, and vendors to bring the vision to life. It was a fulfilling journey to see the welcoming reaction from guests and to receive recognition for the design. We are always excited to offer our expertise in the development of new brands!
