PHILOSOPHY

Design and Engineering, Inc. was established with the primary goal of providing quality Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering services for multi-unit corporate clients. By consolidating these three essential design disciplines under one roof, we can offer our clients the same benefits as an “in-house” design department without the burden of the associated overhead cost.

Design and Engineering, Inc. has been structured to provide our clients’ development and construction departments with the necessary services to deliver successful projects on schedule and within budget. We emphasize communication and coordination internally and among the consultants from the inception of the project through programming, conceptual design, design development, and construction documents and administration.

Design and Engineering, Inc. has experienced consistent growth during the past 44 years. The Professional Corporation is owned by seven managing principals: Jim Craig, P.E.; Colleen Atwood, RArch; Byron Bohrman, P.E.; Melissa Sears; Chip Wallace, RArch, LEED; Ryan Nicholson, RArch; and Jessica Gore, P.E.. Together they have attained over 100 years of professional experience and hold licenses in over 47 States and the District of Columbia.
